About SMaRT
SMaRT garage services is a pioneering initiative from FST which provides MOT testing and vehicle repairs and servicing to private and business customers whilst at the same time delivering training and employment opportunities to local people who want to get back into work. FST has three SMaRT garages in Salford and West Norwood and Woolwich in SE London. The garages are staffed by fully qualified technicians with many years experience in the industry. We take pride in our standards of workmanship, offer competitive rates and promise never to charge for unnecessary work.

Work placements
SMaRT garage services offers work experience in vehicle mechanics, stock control, customer service, sales and marketing and finance and admin. Each workforce member has a personal development plan which identifies their goals and tracks their progress towards becoming ready to move on to paid employment, alternative voluntary work or further education. SMaRT garage services also provides opportunities to gain nationally-recognised qualifications.
