About FST Main Office
FST Main Office is First Step Trust's administrative centre providing financial, administrative, business development, communications, marketing and HR support to our projects across the country. As with all FST projects, our headquarters also provide people with mental health conditions and other disadvantages, with the opportunity to access work and training in a real working environment.
The opportunities at FST Main Office have been enhanced in the last year since the organisation developed SMaRT garage services as part of the refurbishment of its new premises in Kingside Business Park. SMaRT garage services provides MOT and vehicle servicing to private and business customers and also provides work placements for local people.
FST Main Office has also recently opened SMaRT Venue, a meeting room and conference facility, fully equipped with the latest technology, including wifi and white board. Tea and coffee and light refreshments can also be provided. Onsite parking is available.
Work placements
Workforce members can choose from a range of work experience including motor mechanics, customer services, parts ordering and stock control, marketing, admin and finance. We are also planning to introduce events management as part of the development of SMaRT Venue. Each workforce member has a personal development plan and can receive support with applying for jobs.
FST Main Office also provides opportunities to gain nationally-recognised qualifications including OCR in Admin and Business Professional, Bookkeeping and accounting and ICT.
