'Moving into our new premises'. Directed by Steve Wagner & starring Jeff Richards & the painting team. After more than a years wait, we finally moved to 187 Angel Place, Fore St, Edmonton in November 2005 but it was January before we had completed our redecoration both inside and out. The end result, however, was well worth the wait.

A Special Needs Primary School with Special Needs. Directed by Jeff Richards & starring Michael Conway as the mower man & Len Miller as the head gardener The garden of this local school had been vandalised leaving the children very distressed. We spotted the article in the local newspaper and offered our services, free of charge, to help restore the garden, keep it in order and rebuild the climbing frame. Over the year a real relationship has developed with the children and the garden is now looking great and everyone enjoys the pleasure of seeing the enjoyment they all get from it.

The Sports Pavilion. Directed by Peter Ives and starring Duane Green, Nick Dick & Howard Chidzey as the decorators This council owned pavilion represented a massive undertaking in atrocious weather conditions and was, nonetheless, completed earlier than estimated. It was also Jeff's first solo major job in his new position as External Works Manager.

Fencing Classes Directed by Brian Meakins & starring Big John as the Alligator man, Duane Green & Nick Dick as the winchmen and a cameo appearance by Jonas as the fencer. The removal of 70 metres of yew hedging and the erection of a replacement featherboard fence was taken in their stride by a team growing in confidence and experience and enjoying some much better weather

The Open Day Directed by Delroy Joseph with an all star cast in this show of progress and achievement Work comes to a halt as we turn our attention to getting our project known in the area by hosting an open day in the spring which was very successful.

Painting at the Hospital Directed by Jeff Richards in his 2nd major production of the year ably supported by Len, Duane, Tom and the usual cast but with a debut performance from James Smith as the new man. A major task for us was the refurbishment of a ward and ante-rooms at the local hospital. A major contract for a major customer was, again, completed to exacting standards in often difficult circumstances, demonstrating once again, this time in a commercial enterprise, that the team can compete at any level.

The New Deck Directed by Brian Meakins with a full line up of aspiring newcomers and featuring Tom White in his new role as leading carpenter with Len Miller in the support role as the cement maker. 'Find a way to improve this mass of broken and uneven concrete' was our brief. A wooden deck and railway sleepers was our answer, with our usual immaculate finish. Decks are becoming something of a 'signature' project for the Enfield team.

Rumble in the Jungle Directed by the Social Services Executive with a starring debut from new man Mark Wilkinson supported by those old favourites, Tom White, Delroy Joseph, Duane Green & Len Miller. A massively overgrown front and rear garden was a new challenge for our abilities but, as ever, the team soon got to grips with it and, with the aid of some impressive equipment, soon have itlooking unrecognisable from the tangled mess it was.

The Office A new production from the old team with starring roles for several old favourites. Can we build a new office within the existing offices of our clients for whom we had just finished a painting contract? No problem - bring on Jeff the builder!

The St. Albans Driveway Directed by Brian Meakins in his final and most demanding production of the year, with Jeff Richards as assistant director. Mike Conway stars again as the tough guy with the wheelbarrow, Len Miller as the man with the ideas and another debutant, Robert Callf adding valuable support. By far our heaviest job so far. Some 14 tons of earth removed; 6 tons of hardcore compacted; 7 tons of wet concrete laid and a ton of shingle spread in 5 days means backache all round but huge degrees of satisfaction in a tough job well completed.

The Employment Development Worker Directed by Main Office Promotions and starring Jenny Correia as the EDW and Karen Barnes in her brilliant new role as Office Supervisor A crucial stage in the development of the project was achieved in September with Jenny Correia's appointment to this new role, which is designed to build on the workforce experiences by helping them into employment. Stage one of this is invariably arranging placements with organisations in the 'real' world and Jenny has already moved 3 of our workforce into these situations and working hard on finding others.
The Big Lawn Another Jeff Richards production with Robert Callf appearing in his second new role and Len Miller and James Smith showing new skills as the rotovators. The guys get to grips with the largest lawn in North London - at least it felt like it by the time they had stripped the original, rotovated the soil & relaid over 200 sq meters of new turf. Another new task but with the same great result.

A one man show by newcomer Mark Wilkinson as he takes the controls for the first time. In addition to hard work, new skills & new friendships we also encourage our workforce to accept responsibility & here is Mark , who only joined in August, behind the wheel our works vehicle which he now drives regularly.
Some Christmas Cheer Directed by Karen Barnes & Chris Bell and supported by the whole cast. It is not all work here - we do get to play sometimes as shown in this Christmas epic, where a good time is enjoyed by everyone.

Our thanks and further nominations for 'screenplay' awards go to Lynn Adam, Ashok Popat & Sal Cimino for their hard work drafting this review and finally to Dean Lewis, who has used his considerable IT skills to pull this all together, goes the nomination for 'Best Producer'.
These snapshots, both literally and metaphorically, of last year have hopefully given a flavour of what we do, how we do it and what we can achieve by determination, commitment, teamwork and no little skill. Even if Jeff did not appear to enjoy his taste (see photo) we hope you have. If you need more information do give us a ring on 020 8807 6856 or email us
