FST Berkshire
Location: Broadmoor Hospital, Berkshire

bulletAbout the project

Established in 1999, FST Berkshire was a pioneering project set up within Broadmoor Hospital to offer work opportunities for people within the forensic mental health system.

It was the first of our projects to be developed within a secure environment and has helped FST build a successful and robust approach to running an independent initiative in within a secure hospital. The workforce and management work as an effective team to drive forward its business offering a wide range of services to internal and external customers.

As with all our other projects in secure hospitals, FST Berkshire gives people a unique opportunity to get off the wards and into a real work situation where they are seen as a member of the workforce not a patient, where they take on the challenges of working life by getting involved in delivering our business services.
